Peter's Backyard is a historical landmark brownstone building located in Greenwich Village at 64 W 10th St. AUDART Founder and Director Neil London curated and managed art exhibitions regularly in this beautiful space. Built in 1829, Peter's Backyard received it's first state liquor license in 1887, and has operated as one on New York's finest steak and ale houses since. Throughout the 1920s, '30s and '40s famous film stars such as Bogart and Bacall were often seen dining at Peter's Backyard. In 1980 Peter's Backyard became Texarkana, a popular Greenwich Village restaurant and social venue. Andy Warhol frequented the upstairs balcony table, which is now dedicated in his memory.
